Who We Are

Youth 4 Peace is a dynamic, youth-led initiative based in Jordan, driven by the passion and resilience of refugee and local youth. We believe that young people are the architects of peace and social change, and we dedicate our efforts to bridging divides between communities, fostering understanding, and nurturing a culture of cooperation.

Since our founding, we have created spaces where Jordanian and Syrian youth can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and community projects, we equip young people with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to become influential leaders, peacebuilders, and change-makers in their societies.

Our work goes beyond traditional education—we focus on non-formal learning, social engagement, and real-life problem-solving to empower youth to envision and create a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable world.

Our Mission

Youth 4 Peace strives to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by:

• Promoting peacebuilding: Encouraging youth to actively participate in creating understanding, dialogue, and conflict resolution within their communities.
• Empowering youth through education: Providing access to formal and non-formal educational opportunities, skill-building workshops, and mentorship programs.
• Fostering leadership and social responsibility: Inspiring young people to take initiative, collaborate with others, and implement meaningful projects that advance equality, justice, and sustainability.
• Connecting communities: Building bridges between Jordanian and Syrian youth to foster lasting friendships, cultural exchange, and collective impact.
